Many nail polishes found in drugstores contain harmful chemicals like formaldehyde, so it’s better to be safe than sorry when it comes to your kids’ manicure and pedicure fun. Numerous polish brands are now offering formulas free of the so-called “toxic three” (toluene, formaldehyde and dibutyl phthalate), but not all are created equal.
